Cooking Methods And Foods To Avoid In Ramadan 2014

Following is the list of dishes and foods which you should avoid especially in Ramadan at Iftar time if you are conscious about your health and fitness.

  1. Deep fried foods e.g. pakoras, samosa, fried dumplings.
  2. High sugar / high fat foods e.g. indian sweets such ghulab jamun, Ras gullay, balushahi, baklawa etc.
  3. High fat cooked foods such as parhatas, oily curries, greasy pastries.

Cooking Methods to Avoid:

  • Deep frying
  • Frying
  • curries with excessive oil.
Well it is also recommended to minimize of meal that contains caffeine in its ingredients especially in sehri. For example as coffee, tea, cigarettes (not all), cokes (not all), etc. Because caffeine speedup the process to loss water via urination. I wish a healthy and Blessed Ramadan 2014.
